As the founder and presenter of the Blue Badge Access Awards, Fiona needs clothes that she can wear on and off stage. Living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), as a wheelchair user she needs garments that are appropriate for mobility. As someone who believes that the environment is what disables people, designing clothes to facilitate Fiona’s fashion needs was important to us both.
The Short Collarless Jacket is worn open, there are no zippers, buttons, or fasteners on this style. It’s slightly cropped style ensures comfort when wearing it on your wheelchair.
Brand champion Tessa, as a wheelchair user with Cerebral Palsy, chose this jacket in another fabric colour combination as shown in blue.
This jacket is 50% wool, 48% silk, 2% lurex and is lined with 100% viscose that was repurposed from industry excess. By using excess industry fabrics, our garments are less harmful to the environment than traditional manufacturing techniques. To care for it, we recommend dry clean only.
