The skirt is full and features tulle for fullness and a pop of colour when twirling in the ballroom. This style features an exposed back zipper with an elongated decorative ribbon pull making it easy to put on by yourself.

Katherine, who lives with Down Syndrome, has grown up with clothes sewn by her mother. She loves ball room dancing and going out with her husband Sam. When designing Katherine’s very own dress that she could wear to her champion ballroom competitions, it was important to incorporate function with style and elegance. The Ball Gown includes an exposed back zipper with a ribbon pull for making putting it on and off easier. A timeless classic featuring a red tulle under-skirt for a pop of colour.
This ball gown is made up of a 100% cotton bodice lined with 100% polyester, and a 57% cellulose acetate, 30% polyester, and 13% metallised polyester skirt, made full with 100% polyester crinoline also lined with 100% polyester that was repurposed from industry excess. By using excess industry fabrics, our garments are less harmful to the environment than traditional manufacturing techniques. To care for it, we recommend dry clean only.
